At the 51st Highland Division Reunion at Gordon Barracks, Aberdeen, in 1965, a team of boys gave an Highland dancing for the Queen Mother. Accompanying Her Majesty is Company Sergeant Major James Mortimer, B.E.M, the boys instructor in dancing, who now lives in Rylands Road, Dunblane. On recent years the school has been run less on army lines, and in 1966 the boys walking out uniform was changed from battle dress to the present kilt jackets seen around the town.
